How do I get more referrals from general dentists near me?
Go to the offices that send your procedures out, ask for the person who books referrals, and give them a reason to try you. Leadaura does the legwork: it finds every general dentist in your radius, reads each website to see what they refer out, and names the owner and office manager with a checked email and a direct line. Each office comes with a first line to say.
How do you know which offices send cases out and which keep them in-house?
We read each office's own website. An office that lists implants, extractions or bone grafting as services moves down your list. One that doesn't, or says it refers them to a specialist, moves up. Patient reviews that mention being sent to a specialist count too. Other specialties work the same way, with their own procedures.
My referring dentists are keeping more cases in-house. What should I do?
Spend your time where cases still leave the building. Offices that list your procedures are marked lower priority, so your coordinator calls the ones that still send out first. New associate dentists are flagged too: they are new to the area and haven't settled on a specialist yet.
How much does it cost? Is there a subscription?
You pay per run, from $99: Base is $99 for 25 offices, Pro is $199 for 50 and Max is $279 for 100. There is no subscription, contract or seat fee. A free preview shows how many offices are in range before you pay, and if a run can't reach the size you ordered, you're refunded the difference.
Where does the data come from, and how fresh is it?
Every run is pulled the day you run it, from public business listings, each office's own website, the national provider registry and public professional profiles. Nothing comes from an old database, and each row shows the date it was checked.
Are the emails checked? Will I reach the owner or just the front desk?
Work emails are checked before they reach you and marked as checked. Where we find them, you get the owner dentist and the office manager by name, plus the office's main email and phone. Offices that only publish a front-desk address show it as the office email.
Is it OK to email and call other practices?
Yes. Contacting another practice about professional referrals is ordinary business-to-business outreach. In email, say who you are, include your practice address, and stop when asked. Never offer anything of value in exchange for referrals. Leadaura uses public business information only and never touches patient data.
What should I say on the first call or office visit?
Each office comes with an opener written from what we found, like the procedure they send out or the associate who just joined. Ask for the office manager by name, offer lunch for the team and bring referral pads. The visit route plans the drive.
Does it work for periodontists, endodontists, prosthodontists and orthodontists?
Yes. Pick your specialty and Leadaura checks each nearby office for the procedures you take on: implants, extractions and wisdom teeth for oral surgeons; gum grafts and periodontal therapy for periodontists; root canals for endodontists; full-arch and implant dentures for prosthodontists; braces and clear aligners for orthodontists. Every run starts with general dentists, and you can add family, pediatric and cosmetic practices and dental groups.
Does it work for gastroenterologists, cardiologists or other medical specialists?
Leadaura is built for dental specialists, and runs are available today for oral and maxillofacial surgeons, periodontists, endodontists, prosthodontists, orthodontists and oral medicine and pathology. Medical specialties such as orthopedic surgeons, cardiologists and gastroenterologists have their own pages and a free practice count, but runs for them aren't available yet.
Do I still need referral marketing if I already rank on Google?
Yes, if most of your cases come from other offices. Search brings patients who are already looking for you. Referrals come from dentists who trust you, and that trust is built one office at a time. Leadaura tells you which offices to start with.
